Item Description
2" dia. Jacob Straus, 1840s. Early quarter hour repeater. Pump fusee movement. Front of case opens to reveal white porcelain dial marked w/bold black Roman numerals. Dial has tiny surface flake at edge between 6 and 7 o'clock and two tiny chips at 9 o'clock edge. Some tiny hairlines between 4 and 5 o'clock numerals. Scattered case wear w/a number of tiny shallow indents and tarnishing to metal. Watch is not running but repeater functions work. Comes w/key. VG/Fine overall.
