Item Description
2" dia. 18K gold Open Face pocket watch. Made in Vienna, Austria, 1810s. Back of case detached (but will snap tightly back into place). Engraved "Caspar Kaufmann In Wien" name/text on duct cover. Repousse work on dial w/Roman numerals and wonderful filigree design at center. Scattered case wear w/several small surface ripples/indents to detached case back and some lt. scattered tarnishing to metal. Bezel wear on back shows through onto dial. Comes w/original key. Running and repeater actions work w/chime. VG/Fine overall.
