Item Description
Four 1-7/8” dia. tin litho buttons with “Pops Pirate Club” name at top and varying ranks of : Captain, 1st, 2nd, 3rd Mate, designs of skull and crossbones, revolvers, dagger, pirate flag. Comes with 8.5x11” letter with pirate, pirate ship and skull and crossbone images. Letter details how to get additional dagger premium. For CBS radio children’s show which ran very briefly from June 27, 1932 – July 29, 1932. Show was sponsored by Wheat and Rice Puffs cereal. Buttons have scattered scratches and wear. VG/Fine. Letter has aged as folded and has handling wear. Two sets of holes from buttons. VG. Lot comes with three additional 2” dia. cello buttons from “The Pirate Club” and each features skull and crossbones motif with following ranks: Captain, 2nd, 3rd Mates. Not related to "Pops" but of similar design. These are VF.
