Item Description
14x30x6" deep box contains near complete and well-designed set. ©1964 Independent Television Corp. Based on Gerry Anderson's third original marionette TV series. Box remains tight w/moderate wear and aging. Some soiling/staining and name written neatly in pen on lid. VG. Set includes various cardboard pieces that make up components of space city headquarters, few missing. Additional playset pieces are hard/soft plastic. As listed on box, this includes "21 Inch Long Fireball XL5, 24 Inch Automatic Spring Powered Track Launcher, Flying Fireball XL1, Jet Car, 2 Jetmobiles, Fireball Transport Truck & Trailer, Firing Tower & 3 Stage Missile, Jet Fuel Tanks, Flying Interceptor Satellite, Automatic Satellite Launcher." Additionally set has eight character figures including "Steve Zodiak, Venus, Professor Matic, Commander Zero, Zoony (arm off/included), Robert Robot" in addition to "Space City Astronauts" (86-orange, 45-blue and 37 gold). Gold astronauts have plastic fatigue and there are several with broken arms and pieces off.  Stickers were used in the appropriate areas w/a few in place and some dried and included. Plastic parts are Good to VF w/a few broken pieces that could be repaired. One of the best Gerry Anderson-related items. Rarely found this complete w/box.
