Item Description
Small variety 5x7.5x1.5" deep nicely illustrated, full color box contains complete set by Acme Plastic Toys, Inc. ©1947 Detective Comics Inc. (there is also a variety w/a 1946 Superman Inc. copyright). Box features same design as previous item #1774. Box is complete w/instruction slip and original die-cut insert illustrated w/images of Superman and holds 3" wide plastic filmstrip viewer and three boxed filmstrips. Perforated display lid has been punched. Box has had reinforcement added to box bottom and box has scattered professional restoration/conservation and displays Fine overall. This is the smaller of two sets and included within are complete film #1 (in viewer) and boxed films #2-4. Each of the three boxes features great full body images of Superman on all four sides and are Exc. Viewer is missing eye lens but is o/w Exc. Franco Toscanini Collection.
