Item Description
Lot of 4 sheets, each with slightly uneven margins as each was trimmed from a larger sheet. Sheets are 9.5x9.5" to 12x12". For the classic 1938 gum card issue which was an extensive set of 288 cards, ACC# R69. Cards vary somewhat from sheet to sheet but are in the range of numbers 1 and 72.  All have some type of printing error defect. One is printed without magenta ink. One is just black w/cyan and has overprint "Ghost" images of other Horrors cards printed upside down on top of card front images. The other two are the full color card fronts but both with overprinted Horrors text backs on card fronts. One of these sheets is blank backed, the other has double printed text on back.  Scattered handling wear and aging. The double printed back has margin wear/impressions as once framed. All sheets are still clean. Fine. Something very different for the Horrors collector.
