Item Description
12.5x20" thin sheet of vellum has lead/colored pencil original art for 1950s premium map featuring Bugs Bunny and other Looney Tunes characters. Lower left has large "Bugs Bunny Map Of The United States" title w/the characters featured, including - Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck, Foghorn Leghorn, Elmer Fudd and Yosemite Sam. Characters are illustrated several times across the states, w/several tying in w/feature/export that state is known for. Some of note include - Bugs dressed as Santa Claus w/Christmas tree in New Hampshire, Bugs carrying "Vote For Bugs Bunny" sign outside US Capitol Building, Foghorn Leghorn holding orange in Florida, Elmer Fudd dressed as Davy Crockett in Tennessee, Bugs Bunny's head beside those on Mt. Rushmore in South Dakota, Elmer Fudd as cowboy in Wyoming, Daffy Duck chasing potato in Idaho, Bugs behind movie camera in California. Other scenes of note include Elmer Fudd dressed as Mountie in Canada and Foghorn Leghorn dressed as senorita in Mexico. Sheet is evenly aged. Bottom margin has been trimmed, but this does not affect art in any way. Some creasing along right margin, but VF/Exc. overall. A truly unique item for the Warner Bros. collector.
