17-1/8x28.25" thin cardboard poster for Sept. 9, 1966 concert that took place at Abe's 506 Club nightclub (part of the famous Chitlin' Circuit of Southern music venues where black musicians could find gigs during segregation) in Pensacola, FL featuring Soul artists James Carr (w/song titles "Love Attack" and "You Got My Mind Messed Up" listed), Bobby Powell, Roscoe Robinson, Raymond Parker and The Royals Orchestra. Poster features photos of all but Robinson and The Royals Orchestra, who are represented by illustrations. Poster was printed by Globe Poster of Baltimore, MD. Poster has aged margins and shows obvious wear along top margin w/1.75" corner off upper left and .5x1.5" chip along right. Upper right margin also has 3x18.5" streak of moisture staining. VG overall.
