Item Description
22x28.25" thin cardboard poster for June 19, 1953 concert that took place at Gregory's Ballroom in Richmond, VA featuring Doo-Wop group The Swallows (w/song titles "Beside You, Laugh" and "Bicycle Tillie" listed) and All Star Dance Orchestra. Poster features nice photo of The Swallows singing in harmony. Poster was printed by Globe Poster Corp. of Baltimore, MD. Pin holes/tack holes along top/bottom margins w/a number of pulls, including .5x1.25" pull near bottom center and .5" U-shaped puncture at bottom center. Upper left corner has moisture staining and poster shows some margin wear w/a few scattered .5" tears. VG.
