Item Description
24.5x38" poster produced for a George McGovern campaign event held at the LA Forum April 5, 1972. In addition to Barbra Streisand, Carole King and James Taylor, the event also featured Quincy Jones and His Orchestra as well as a bevy of celebrity ushers listed at the bottom, including - Jack Nicholson, Warren Beatty, James Earl Jones, Shirley MacLaine, Goldie Hawn, Gene Hackman and more. Poster features nice portraits of Streisand, King and Taylor and has been rolled. Poster has some scattered handling wear and margin wear. Upper left corner shows moderate wear w/some edge pieces chipped away. Fine overall but would nice framed. A true classic 1972 McGovern campaign item.
