Item Description
24x36" glossy paper promotional record store poster featuring album cover art for The Grateful Dead's 1972 live triple-album "Europe '72" designed by Alton Kelley and Stanley Mouse under their Kelly/Mouse Studios name and set against mostly white. Poster features image from the back cover of the album, depicting The Ice Cream Kid smashing an ice cream cone against his forehead, some of the ice cream flying through the air spelling "Live." Poster has been signed at lower right in gold paint pen by Kelley and in black felt tip pen by Mouse, who has added his distinctive mouse portrait sketch. Lower left corner has 1x3" area of staining from label once adhered to back. Poster has some scattered aging/handling wear and has been rolled. Fine/VF.
