Item Description
4.25x6.25" single-sided sheet w/printed "Autographed For An 'American Bandstand' Fan" w/imprint of Philadelphia, PA station WFIL-TV Channel 6. Sheet has been signed in blue ink by R&B/Soul legend Sam Cooke (1931-1964), responsible for such hits as "You Send Me, Cupid" and "Twistin' The Night Away." Cooke appeared on "American Bandstand" a number of times during the late 1950s and into the 1960s, w/his last appearance taking place in 1964 (the year he was tragically shot and killed). Cooke has inscribed "To Jeff - Luck." Sheet has vertical crease at center and some lt. aging/handling wear. VF overall. Great piece for Cooke to have signed. Comes with Hake's COA and Roger Epperson/REAL LOA.
