Item Description
11x14" mat contains paper w/pen and ink original art of "Pinocchio" character Jiminy Cricket that has been hand-colored by his creator Ward Kimball, one of Disney's Nine Old Men. Art has been inscribed "To Joan And Charlie Roberts! From Jiminy Cricket And Ward Kimball '85" as well as having WDP copyright. Art is Exc. and comes w/typed letter from Kimball that is dated March 6, 1985 and addressed to Roberts w/content thanking Roberts for gift that was sent along w/art request and Kimball's note about rejecting people who request art w/o sending return postage and his wish for "Pinocchio" to cease being re-released. Kimball has signed in black ink at bottom along w/adding several of his name address stamps.
