Item Description
22x32.75" thin cardboard poster for June 28, 1968 concert that took place at Knoxville Civic Coliseum in Knoxville, TN. Concert featured Joe Tex, who is shown in large photo portrait w/"Skinny Legs And All" and "I'll Never Do You Wrong" song titles listed. Percy Sledge is also pictured, w/"Take Time To Know Her" song title. Other performers pictured include - Pigmeat Markham, The Del-Fonics and The Intruders. Bottom right has picture of bucket of Kentucky Fried Chicken and "Enter Joe Tex's Finger Lickin' Contest And Win Buckets Of Colonel Sanders's Recipe Kentucky Fried Chicken" text. Printed by Globe Poster of Baltimore, MD. Poster has even moderate aging and corner tip wear including heavy 2" crease at upper left and sliver off bottom edge at bottom left. Tack holes at corners and some scattered aging to Joe Tex's face, but poster is in original state w/no restoration. VG/Fine overall. A vibrant and stunning poster w/great day-glo colors.
