8.5x11-3/8" sheet of onionskin paper has wonderfully detailed and finished lead pencil original art for cereal box back promoting "Cap'n Crunch - Bouncin' Bos'n Chair" premium toy, a variation on the concept presented in previous lot, item #2145. 1970s. Text is all hand-lettered w/some noting premium as "Good Ship Guppy Action Toy Free Inside This Package!" Text goes on to explain how toy works, accompanying Cap'n Crunch dialogue, which includes "Just Slide The Bos'n Chair To Top Of Mast. A Slight Tap Puts The Crewman In Motion... Watch Him Bounce Down The Mast!" Cap'n Crunch as well as the other three characters could be placed in the chair - Seadog, Alfie and Brunhilde. Extreme margins have some thin aged strips of tape, none of which affect art/text, which remains Exc. Unique. From the archives of premium creators Sam & Gordon Gold and comes with LOA.
