Item Description
8x10.5" sheet of onionskin paper (w/construction paper matt) has mixed media original art depicting "Action Surfer" premium toy proposed for Post in 1968. All hand-lettered text notes "Free Inside This Package - Complete Plastic Toy With Spring Action Ejector Tube." Art also shows children playing w/premium, noting "Collect A Few - In Red, Yellow Or Blue!" Top and left/right margins have some glue staining as once attached to sheet, but still VF overall. Unique. Comes w/sheet dated "10/15/68" featuring printed and handwritten text specifications in lead pencil as well as lead pencil original art showing design of unassembled premium still on sprue. Exc.
