Item Description
1.75x2.5" die-cut and 3x.25" artboard card w/mixed media original art for Dick Tracy trading card, w/hand-lettered "Dick Tracy" name on larger card (which has cut-out border for pop-out feature around Tracy) and "2-Way Wrist Radio" label pointing to Tracy's raised wrist. Police helicopter hovers overhead. Gold produced the Post Roy Rogers Pop-Out Card premium issue. Back of Tracy card has handwritten "Comic 'Pop-Up' Cards" text. This is oversize format of the Roy Rogers cards. 1950s. Comes w/smaller card that has image of large futuristic rocketship at launch platform in more familiar size. This also has cut-out border for pop-out feature around rocket. Both have trace of paperclip oxidized soiling, but are o/w VF. Great images and color. A very unique item for Dick Tracy and non-sports card collectors. From the archives of premium creators Sam & Gordon Gold and comes with LOA.
