Item Description
3-1/16" diameter and over .25" thick, this heavy deep chocolate bronze medal features high relief Clay bust at center with name above and dates of birth and death (1852) below. Reverse shows a hand resting on the "Constitution" which is draped over a rock. Two text lines read "The Eloquent Defender of National Rights, And National Independence".  This version includes "C.C. Wright F." below the shoulder. Very short (.25") and shallow rim dent at 7 o'clock, some small darker finish areas catch reflected light and very small traces of scattered wear. Near VF.
