Item Description
27x41" one-sheet for the original release of the 1958 Sci-Fi film directed by Edward L. Cahn and starring Marshall Thompson, Shawn Smith (Shirley Patterson) and Kim Spalding. The film was distributed by United Artists on a double bill w/"Curse Of The Faceless Man." Poster features great design w/outline of the alien monster (cleverly obscured) looming over man and woman and rocketship on surface of Mars. Promotional text at top promises "$50,000 Guaranteed! By A World-Renowned Insurance Company To The First Person Who Can Prove 'It' Is Not On Mars Now!" Folded as issued poster is free of pin holes and has crease at upper right corner. Some small splits at ends of fold lines. Upper right has 1x2.75" area of staining. Still Fine overall.
