Item Description
22x28" half-sheet poster for the original American release of the 1956 American adaptation of the 1954 Japanese film "Gojira." Original content featuring American actor Raymond Burr was shot and inserted into the film, w/English dubbing added, creating a slightly different film than director Ishiro Honda had intended. Promotional text at bottom reads "Awesome! And Then Some! Civilization Totters! Science Astounded!" and poster features great image of Godzilla destroying train and breathing fire down upon fleeing populace. Poster is evenly aged w/pin holes at corners and vertical crease at center. Fine overall.
