Item Description
11x14" lobby card for the original 1951 release of classic Sci-Fi film directed by Christian Nyby and starring Margaret Sheridan, Kenneth Tobey, Robert Cornthwaite and Douglas Spencer. James Arness plays The Thing, but he is difficult to recognize in costume and make-up due to both low lighting and other effects used to obscure his features. Card #6 features inset scene of the arctic explorers preparing to confront The Thing. .75" tear at center left and 1" tear at lower right margin. Top left corner has some pink staining and all corners have single pin hole. Fine overall.
