Item Description
27x41" one-sheet poster for the original 1957 release of the American International Pictures Sci-Fi classic directed by Edward L. Cahn and starring Steven Terrell, Gloria Castillo and Frank Gorshin. Classic 1950s poster by Albert Kallis features two of the large-headed aliens, one holding swooning woman below "Creeping Horror... From The Depths Of Time And Space!" text. Flying saucers shine rays down on fleeing city populace in bkg. Great promotional text at bottom reads "See Teenagers Vs. The Saucer-Men! See Disembodied Hand That Crawls...! See Night The World Nearly Ended! See Earth Attacked By Flying Saucers!" Poster has been folded as issued w/scattered handling wear and several pin holes at corners and along margins, some affecting title at top. Top left and upper left half of poster has some scattered edge chips w/area of dust soiling at lower left. This area has 1" tear below 5.5x6" V-shaped tear that has been repaired. Poster is technically VG, but colors remain strong and poster would display nicely if framed. Classic Sci-Fi movie poster.
