Large variety 7x9x1.75" deep nicely illustrated, full color box contains complete set by Acme Plastics Manufacturing Co. Inc. ©1940 The Superman, Inc. Box lid features classic hands-on-hips pose of Superman w/additional image of either side w/city bkg. Perforated display lid has been punched and lid is loose along hinge. Side panels feature different action illustrations in a filmstrip style. Box is complete w/original die-cut insert (featuring Superman images) holding 3" wide plastic filmstrip viewer and three boxed filmstrips. Box shows some corner tip wear and is evenly aged. Fine for display. This is the larger of two sets and included within are four films; #1-3 w/additional #3 (missing film #4). Each box features great full body images of Superman on all four sides and are Exc. Viewer is NM.
