Item Description
2-1/8" tall heavy gauge brass with reverse bar pin. No markings. Background brass has pattern of large stipples and the metal is wavy as made. Mounted at open center is full figure finely detailed ( down to the glasses on his nose)   Roosevelt Bear holding his hat across his chest with one paw  and holding the hand of a small bear cub with his other paw. Eaton published his first Roosevelt Bear book in 1906. Teddy B and Teddy G were friendly, anthropomorphic bears who came from the Colorado wilderness to explore human civilization. The stories took them across America and into the wider world. 1st seen. Minor tarnish. Exc.
