Item Description
11.25x14-3/8" artboard has Joe Musial's pen and ink original art for cover to the Oct. 1943 issue of "Ace Comics," published by David McKay. Cover features Hans and Fritz Katzenjammer of "The Katzenjammer Kids" watching elephant blow bubbles from its trunk w/aid of soapy water. The elephant reacts in shock as frog jumps from bubble to bubble. "Ace Comics" logo is printed stat. All else is original art. Musial has signed at lower right. Lower left has KFS copyright strip. Margins have glue staining, but art remains clean and Exc.
