Item Description
6-1/8x18-7/8" thin artboard w/India ink original art by "Blondie" creator Chic Young. Art is for July 6, 1948 and features four panels, w/Cookie commenting that she's hungry, only for Blondie to catch her making jelly bread. Blondie tells her she'll spoil her appetite for dinner to which Cookie replies "What's The Difference? I'm Going To Spoil My Appetite At Dinner, Anyway" much to Blondie's shock. Young has signed last panel. First panel has King Features Syndicate copyright strip. Back has related text in blue pencil. All panels have screentone accents that have darkened w/age. Two small spots of dark aging along bottom edge of art, between first/second and second/third panels. Artboard is Fine overall while art still displays VF.
