Item Description
8x10x1.25" thick book w/124 thick paper pages plus four choice full color plates. Birn Bros. Ltd. c. 1936. Features story art on almost every page in bw, sometimes w/addition of one other color that varies from page to page. Story features many characters including Mickey and Minnie Mouse, Horace Horsecollar, Clarabelle Cow, Donald Duck and others. One color plate titled "Mickey's Famous Circus Train" depicts him as engineer, one story art page titled "Mickey And Minnie Went Home On The Hand-Car" features image w/great likeness to the Lionel toy. Choice cover art is repeated front/back w/additional illustration on spine. Cover has some corner tip wear and spine shows some wear at top/bottom. Pages have evenly aged but remain clean. Fine overall. Rare book.
