Item Description
8.5x13.25" partially printed document on vellum. Land grant issued to Joseph Lewis of Westmorland County, Pennsylvania and signed boldly at bottom right "James Madison". Two vertical folds w/a 1/8" hole along right fold affecting the inscribed word "County" in the third line of the document. Also age toning, handling creases and a less than .25" hole in the field at bottom right not affecting text. Good. Signature remains crisp and bold. Comes w/Hake's COA and JSA/LOA.
