Item Description
Sizes are .75" to 1" and each has appropriate maker's back paper if issued with one. This group began in 1902, founded by Elizabeth Britton. The buttons date from the 1920s and 1930s with most issued by the national group but with two of these issued by a local chapter. All include the group name or initials. Row 1, #3 was issued by the New England chapter and row 2, #3 was issued by the Smoky Mountain chapter. These are all quite scarce and about half of these we've seen only once. NM to Mint.
