Item Description
9" dia. celluloid over metal w/wire easel inserted at rear. No maker name on curl, but c. 1918 and purchased by World War I soldier/sailor. Full body photo portrait (in civilian clothes) at top center is unidentified. Plaque features stunning imagery, including flags of Allied Powers countries below "United We Stand" banner. American eagle grasps drum that sits w/war supplies at center. Eagle is flanked by images of tank and naval battles w/Woodrow Wilson quote. Surface shows moderate scattered wear in the form of surface scratches, which are mostly only visible in reflected light. VF.
