Item Description
Large 6" dia. button has cardboard easel back as well as a brass bar pin. "The Greatest Home Run Hitters - New York Yankees" text at top/bottom w/photo images of famed New York Yankees players Mickey Mantle, Babe Ruth and Roger Maris. Button was issued in 1961 and has "'Shooting For 61 In '61'" text, referencing the home run record battle that year between Mantle and Maris. Button has all over spotting but retains an exceptionally glossy appearance w/strong text/images. Easel back is unused. VG overall. Rare and seldom offered, our last example (in Exc. condition) sold for $1,530.
