Item Description
2.75x3x.75" deep thin cardboard box contains 2" dia. chrome case metal pocket watch by Ingraham. 1935. Box lid has wonderful image of Buck Rogers holding space gun w/Wilma Deering nearby and futuristic city in bkg. w/rocketship. Side panels have different images including Dr. Huer, Killer Kane, spaceships, etc. Complete w/separate and original cardboard insert in black/gold w/additional portraits of Buck, Wilma, Buck's rocketship and rocket pistol. Box is lightly aged and has tiny corner tip wear but is o/w clean and VF. Insert is Exc. Comes w/original Ingraham instruction sheet which has been folded as issued and is aged. Fine/VF. Watch dial has nice image of Buck holding pistol w/Wilma in foreground w/her hands at top of depressed circle that holds second dial. Watch has copper luster lightning bolt hands and reverse side has interesting incised image of one-eyed monster carrying shield. Crystal has yellowed slightly w/age and shows surface wear. Scattered luster loss on back design and aged patina to case. Running and Fine overall. Wonderful Buck Rogers item. Richard Calusdian Collection.
