Item Description
5" long dark finished cast iron gun has two figural boys on hands and knees on top of barrel. When gun is cocked and trigger pulled, rear boy moves forward to butt heads and fire cap placed in hat of front boy. Ives, 1885. Raised "Butting Match" text on left side of barrel. Gun has even aged patina w/some lt. oxidation on arms, head and neck of rear boy as well as on cap firing area. Still a working example in Fine condition. Neat design.
