Item Description
The full eight card strip is 2-3/8x23.5", each card is 2-3/8x2-7/8". ©1937 KFS Inc. Issued to promote Whitman Big Little Books, there are a total of 224 cards in this set featuring seven different characters, each in a 32-card subset. This strip features the first eight numbered cards in the entire set, 1-8, which are also the first eight cards of the Flash Gordon subset. Great color art fronts, story text backs pertaining to the scene on the card front along w/ad for Flash BLB's. Top margin of card #1 and bottom margin of card #8 are w/o perforations, verifying this is a complete and intact strip as issued. Slightest margin wear but all cards are firmly intact, no signs of wear to the perfs. Overall cards are choice NM/Mint . The scarcity of these cards make it one of the most difficult 1930s sets to complete. In addition to this, the Flash cards are the most desirable of the set. To find a full strip such as this is a dream come true for any serious Non-Sport card collector.
