©1986 Kenner. Rankin/Bass followed up their successful ThunderCats series with this series about a team of human heroes in the 29th century who were given metal bodies and hawk wings to stop organized crime in the Galaxy of Limbo. The show spawned an action figure line including one for the character "Flashback". Offered here are three pieces of animation studio art used by Kenner in designing the figure. First is 14x17" sheet of layout paper with pencil original art rendering of complete figure. Next items are 11x17" copies of pencil design rendering of character, one with original marker coloring to determine colors for vac-metallized armor figure. Sheets have lt. handling wear and are Exc. as produced. Final figure quite different than these early production art pieces. Rare and must have piece for collectors of the figure line.
