Item Description
DeWitt-Sullivan 1860-7. Struck in brass 28mm (1-1/16"). Obverse has portrait and reads "John Bell, Union Candidate For The Presidency. 1860." Reverse around reads "The Constitution And The Union" enclosing within a circle a wreath of corn and the slogan "Now/And/Forever." Companion pieces were also issued for Lincoln and Douglas with the dies being cut by Robert Lovett, of Philadelphia. Lustrous and near uncirculated.
