Item Description
50mm (2") in white metal with most luster remaining listed as DeWitt-Sullivan 1868-4. Obverse has his high relief portrait and name with slogan "Let Us Have Peace." Reverse shows two horses pulling plow with farmer holding the handles while above are rifles with bayonets stacked at rest. Slogan reads "The Men Will Need Their Horses To Plow With/Appomatox." Slight luster loss on the highest areas of the portrait with a fine, very light .5" hairline scratch at left and similar even less obvious and smaller at right. Extremely fine with near full luster.
