Item Description
27.25x41" one-sheet poster for the original 1951 release of the United Artist-distributed Sci-Fi film directed by Edgar G. Ulmer, starring Robert Clarke, Margaret Field and William Schallert. Poster features stunning art of the titular alien both in his crashed spaceship and out of it, reaching for startled woman. The fog-shrouded Scottish moor can be seen in bkg. Poster has been folded as issued and shows scattered margin wear, including pin holes at corners, w/both top corner tips off (left corner reattached w/tape). Top fold crease intersection has 4.5" horizontal split, center fold crease intersection has 1.75" horizontal and 1" vertical splits while bottom fold crease intersection has 1" vertical split. Scattered wear along fold lines. 1.5" tear just above left center margin. Top center has 4" tear w/aged tape repair on reverse. Good/VG overall, but colors remain strong and poster would still make for nice framed display. Rare poster.
