Item Description
5.5x22x1.5" deep box is variety w/"G-Man Gun" printed graphics and stamped "Tom Corbett Space Cadet" name on both sides. Front/back panels have graphics of gun. Box shows obvious wear and is missing two inner flaps w/additional flap loose but included. End flaps show moderate wear w/tears/splits. .75" puncture from gun to main panel. Heavy side panel crease w/4.5" tear to main panel that wraps onto side. VG overall but main panel remains nice for display. 21.25" long hard plastic/tin litho sparking rifle has "Official Tom Corbett Space Gun" and Rockhill Productions copyright. c. 1950s. Very futuristic design w/tin litho images of "Rocket-Loading Chamber, Ray Adjuster, Positional Indicator, Range Finder" as well as other details. Attached "Sights" have built-in spring. Wind-up mechanism w/built-in key is contained in forward grip. Works w/popping sounds but gun no longer sparks due to missing flint. Scattered tiny nicks to litho o/w bright and Exc. A wonderfully designed, a well-made rifle of the future.
