Item Description
14x36" insert poster for the original release of the 1953 Warner Bros. Sci-Fi film directed by Eugène Lourié and starring Paul Christian, Paula Raymond, Cecil Kellaway and Kenneth Tobey. The film's stop-motion animation special effects were created by Ray Harryhausen. Poster features the "Beast," a fictional dinosaur called the Rhedosaurus, attacking city as populace flees in terror. Poster has three horizontal folds as issued and shows scattered handling wear. Poster is evenly aged w/pin holes/staple holes at corners and top center margin. 1.25" tear at lower left. Left margin has staple hole by "King Of Prehistoric Sea Giants" promotional text. Fine overall.
