Item Description
Pair of painted plaster figural Hitler images w/oversized cloth pincushions on rear. Both are 1940s. Large variety stands 6.25" tall and has incised "Stick A Pin In The Axis" text on front of base. Original felt covering on underside. Figure has repair at ankles and scattered small paint flakes. Fine overall. Smaller "Hotzi Notzi" figural pincushion stands 4.5" tall w/firmly padded brown fabric to serve as pincushion on behind. Marketed as "Hotzi Notzi" as indicated by included tag, which notes Bassons Dummy Products maker's name. Tag has "He Who Seeks To Stick Others - Himself Gets Stuck In The 'End'" text on back and has moderate aging/handling wear. Tag is VG. Figure has break repair at knees and base has been repainted. Figure still displays Fine overall. Classic World War II items and a great pair to display together. Mark Treitel Collection.
