Item Description
Both early 1940s. First is 4" tall painted composition monkey w/metal loop at top. Figure has comb-over hair, Hitler-type mustache and swastika armband. Front of feet are replaced/repaired. 18/" flake on chest. VG. 4-3/8x4.5x1" deep glass ashtray w/painted underside showing caricature of Hirohito as rat w/"Jam Your Cigarette Butts On This Rat" text. Part of a series of three that also featured Hitler and Mussolini. Some scattered flaking to underside paint. Still Fine overall. Mark Treitel Collection.
