Item Description
Pair of 3x5" cards w/attached 1.25" dia. pinback buttons. These were issued at Comic-Con International in San Diego in 1990. Each button features caricature of the respective comic artist and each has signed card. Eisner (1917-2005) card has printed text reading "Watch For Will Eisner's New Graphic Novel Soon! Distant Thunder From Kitchen Sink Press." Card has been signed in blue ink "To Charlie From Will Eisner - San Diego, 1990 (For All Your Years Of Interest)." Card has some handling wear and is VF overall. Button has tiny bump but is o/w glossy and Exc. Kurtzman (1924-1993) card has printed text reading "Watch For Harvey Kurtzman's Strange Adventures" w/publisher information along bottom. Card has been signed in black felt tip pen "Charlie!! Let's Party" and has been signed Kurtzman, who has added his distinctive stick figure man to his signature. Crease below button. Fine. Button has tiny bump but is o/w glossy and Exc.
