Item Description
Original illustrated cardboard box features images of Mickey and Minnie Mouse on two side panels and contains Toy No. 174 by Nifty, distributed by Geo. Borgfeldt. 1931. Box is evenly aged and shows scattered wear including small puncture to main panel and some creasing to side panels. 2.5" split at one end and box is missing one inner flap. Faint penciled price at one end, by two small tears. Box is still Fine for display. Box is scarce. 5.5" tall tin litho toy features nice die-cut design depicting Mickey Mouse's head w/die-cut opening at mouth and eyes. Toy has oxidation behind one ear, on plunger and on mechanism frame but is still in working order and sparks. Fine overall. Classic 1930s Disney toy.
