Item Description
14.25x18x3.5" deep cardboard box features nice lid art of Snow White serving food to the Seven Dwarfs. Left/right side panels have art of Snow White sleeping as animals watch while front/back panels have art of her waking up in forest surrounded by animals. Box has die-cut cardboard insert and once contained generic aluminum dish set by Mirro Aluminum Playthings, though dishes are not included here. ©1937 WDE. Side of box has faded/worn "14 Pc Juvenile Dinnerware Set" label. Die-cut display lid has been punched and is completely loose along back hinge. Box is evenly aged and shows scattered moderate wear w/creases and .5" to 1" edge tears. Front side panel has 3" tear w/glue repair. Number of tape repairs to tears/splits on underside of lid. Good/VG overall. First we've seen in our 51 years of this large and wonderfully illustrated box. Rare.
