Item Description
9x13-1/8" Canadian box flat from 1952. Front panel features great image of jet pack-wearing spaceman blasting off from spaceship and Pep's attempt at re-branding w/"The Solar Cereal" tagline. Inset starburst at bottom right has French text mentioning "Tom Corbett Space Goggles" offer on back which has full panel featuring photo image of child wearing goggles, which were available for 35¢ and one box top. Small text mentions the "Tom Corbett 'Space Cadet'" radio show. Side panel has additional Tom Corbett image. Box was never fully assembled and has moderate aging to top/bottom w/some scattered moistures staining. Fine overall. Scarce box featuring a rare premium.
