Item Description
Sizes 1.75 to 2-3.8". All carry the "Martin" company name. Each has cardboard insert for identification details except Row 1 #2. Highlights in order: 1. names "Navy Office". 2. designates "Qualified Welder". 3. the badge of "Mary E. Wilbur/Army Ordnance". Yellow off the rim from 7-9 o'clock.
4. from department of "Stand. & Methods". Two 1/8" holes through the cello but not the metal backing. 5. this badge was used by a G L Martin employee visiting "Goodyear Aircraft Corporation" with date of 7-24-46. Exc. except as noted. Also see Bendix, Baltimore in- house WWII era badges #579.
