Item Description
3x8x1.75" deep nicely illustrated box contains 1950s "New Rhythmic Educational Toy" by Clown Toy Mfg. Co. Front panel of box features image of "Bo Jangle" while back shows the toy in operation as radio plays in bkg. Box is missing two inner flaps and has tape repairs to inside of main box flaps. Scattered wear, but retains its shape and still Fine for display. Toy consists of 8" tall stereotypical African-American man w/painted wooden body, painted tin arms and hat, 3x8x.5" deep tin litho platform base which has overhead view of stage, band and audience members. Figure attaches to a wire rod and front of base has button which is pressed causing the figure to dance. Exc.
