Item Description
11x17" Strathmore artboard has finely realized pencil art by Dale Eaglesham for "The Heroic Age" variant cover to "Franken-Castle" 17, published by Marvel Aug. 2010. While during this series Frank Castle was roaming the Marvel Universe as a part-machine, part-reanimated corpse known as Franken-Castle, this variant cover features The Punisher in a much more lively depiction, crouching on rooftop w/smoking pistol in hand, a bazooka case slung over his shoulder and a knife strapped to his thigh. Artboard has "Heroic Age - Punisher Cover - Eaglesham" penciled text at top and art has been signed/dated in pencil by the artist. Eaglesham has also signed artboard in black felt tip pen at lower right. Exc. Comes w/reading copy of the issue this cover art was published for. Jason Taulbee Collection.
