Item Description
Lot of four 9.5x10" single-sided paper signs promoting "Puck - The Comic Weekly" publication, featuring King Features Syndicate comic strip characters. These include - Maggie and Jiggs from "Bringing Up Father," Dagwood and Blondie w/the Bumstead Family from "Blondie," "Little King" and "Flash Gordon." ©1948-1951 KFS. Puck issued a variety of signs in different sizes and die-cut shapes. Nice specialty art, "Flash Gordon" sign appears to be by Alex Raymond. "Bringing Up Father" sign has 1.25" crease at upper left corner and tiny corner tip off lower left. Fine/VF. "Blondie" sign has 2" crease w/some dust soiling at upper right corner. Fine. "Little King" sign has some lt. handling wear and pinpoint nick to upper margin but is o/w VF. "Flash Gordon" sign is Exc. All are Scarce. From the archives of premium creators Sam & Gordon Gold and comes with LOA.
